OLD = my co-incidentally aquamarine ring i got for my 14th birthday.
NEW = the dress &bra probably
BORROWED = one of my mothers bracelets
BLUE = i will wear blue underwear or one of those things on your thigh &have the hem of my dress with my new last name sewn on the inside.
New: My Shoes (a gift from my fiance)
Old: An antique brooch being made into my hair piece
Blue: Aquamarine stones in the earrings i am wearing (french blue is one of my wedding colors)
Borrowed: My grandmothers small brooch being put onto my bouquet wrap
Sixpence: I purchased a real sixpence on line
BTW that "thing on your thigh" is called a garter.
She wore it the whole movie and its gold and circular. It may also have writing on it. There is this other one that lindsay lohan wore that is similar to this. If you know the brand for that necklace and in what magazine it was shown in, i would be very gratefull.

I want a pair that look like the ones Aquamarine have in the movie ‘Aquamarine’. I think they are so cute but I can’t find them anywhere…all I can find are gold and silver starfish earrings but I’m really just looking for starfish earring studs that look like small actual starfish. Do people make earrings with actual small starfish anyways? Hmmm. I hope so! I really want a pair really bad.

you can buy real small dried starfish & make your own earrings. They have earring & jewelery making kits at craft stores & other stores like Wal-mart in the craft section. & the starfish you can get from a beach sovenier store

I am doing a science project and i need to know what some everyday uses of the gemstone aquamarine.
Aquemarine is a blue beryl.
it is used mainy in Jewelry.
And, Culture and historical/mythical usage.
* Aquamarine (along with bloodstone) is the birthstone associated with March. It is also the gemstone for the 19th Anniversary.
* People in the Middle Ages thought that aquamarine could magically overcome the effects of poison.
* Ancient sailors traveled with aquamarine crystals, believing that it would ensure a safe voyage, and guarantee a safe return; they often slept with the stones under their pillow to ensure sound sleep. They believed the siren’s (mermaid) fish-like lower body was made of aquamarine.

I prefer a rectangle or emerald cut to it, a high dome setting and in gold either in white or gold. I am not made of money and I know that there are deals to be found out there and if anyone can help with this I would be eternally grateful as three years ago all of my jewelty was stolen and I had designed all of it…..I just want that rare and fine thing for myself…anyone have a clue?

never buy gemsstones through e-bay…chance of fraud is there…otherwise…speak to local gem dealers, see if they can either recommend or order one for you…maybe google "gem wholesale"…i used to know of sources in NYC..it’s more of a ‘best-to-be-there" scenario, sorry …not much help here…more to warn you NOt to do e-bay
What do I need to look for and know before I buy an aquamarine stone?

Aquamarine is one of my favorites because of the clear blue color. Be careful to not confuse it with blue topaz–this stone is much less expensive than aqua. A good quality aqua is a slightly darker sky blue that is very clear. The lighter, pale colors are worth less. The hardness of this stone is 7.5 to 8 on the mohs scale of hardness so it can stand up to daily wear pretty well. Often times you see it set with diamonds as side or accent stones. If set in white gold, aqua is quite stunning. What sets this stone apart from blue topaz is the shine and sparkle that a good stone has. Like all gem stones, aqua is grade as A+ marks being a very good quality.

The golden rule is NEVER wear the same colour eyeshadow as your outfit! it totally takes the look away – go for a soft golden eyeshadow, it will bring out a nice contrast in colour with your eyes and enhance your tanned skin 
clear nail polish or just some sparkle would be nice.
