This is the email i got back from the buyer…"Most of these are fake I do not wish to keep them I would like to send them back."

Now i think i was very fair in my description and that i was unclear.Im scared to get bad feed back from him and i don’t know what to wright him.

Refund the buyer’s money.

You may think that you were fair in your description that you were "unclear," and that you weren’t a gemologist, but it is very bad practice to sell something on eBay when you don’t know what they are, even if you say so.

For the sake of your feedback, apologize to the buyer and refund his money. Then, take the stones to a jeweler and get them assessed.

I would also suggest that you not word your eBay ad with all caps — it looks very unprofessional and like you are a hawkster yelling.

I’d say take it back. Never get back feedback cuz it can ruin u. If it was sold cheap then it shouldn’t be tat bad.

I think you made yourself clear. If I was buying, I would have realised these weren’t real. I gues your response would depend on how much the buyer paid for them. If it wasn’t all that much, they shoud have to keep them or they can sell them to someone else. If it was a lot, thinking that they were real, I’d say that you will probably have to take them back and refund the money. That way, you won’t get too bad of a review.

Ask the buyer to return the stones and when you get them you will refund their money (make sure they insure the package).

You can’t make a claim that they appear to be diamonds, rubies sapphires especially if you don’t know. The fact that you said you didn’t know for sure and you are not a gemologist, does not refute your description.

In Ebay, the buyer is always right (even if you think differently). If you tell the person that you will not refund their money, then they will just dispute the transaction on paypal as "Item not as described"

Write the person an email requesting them to return the item (w/insurance), you will then refund their money.

This is the right thing to do unless you want to get a negative.

If you want to re-list it–DO NOT make reference to diamonds, sapphires, rubies if they are not. You can say that they are gemstones, colored stones etc.

If you don’t know what you’re selling on ebay, you shouldn’t be selling it.

Refund the money after they return it.
