I know most of the Pokemon Game Names were based off of colours in the first generation of Pokemon Games. Then they went onto remakes such as LeafGreen (Green Version remake) and FireRed (Red Version remake). And recentley, they started doing gemstones (Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby, etc.). The latest is Diamond/Pearl/Platinum. Eventually, they’ll have to run out of names, right?
So, what are some other names they can use? I know Opal is a possibility; and remakes of Gold/Silver are possible. They can also use other gemstones, such as Aquamarine, Topaz, Garnet, Amethyst, Peridot, and Turquoise. What could possibly be the next generation Pokemon names when they run out of the whole gemstone series?
