How much is this jewelry worth and should I even sell it?

I have some jewlery that I am thinking about selling/pawning. Most of it I either do not, nor will ever wear or they are mismatched pieces (one earring with the other missing, etc) or they are loose stones.
The jewelry includes
1 24kt gold 1/4ct diamond stud
1 14kt gold 1/5ct diamond stud
1 loose 1/4 ct flawless citrine
1 14kt gold white opal earring
1 14kt gold pendant with 1/5 ct aquamarine

If I sell them I would put the money in savings or use it to help finish paying off my credit card.
Could anyone tell me what a good total for these items would be worth? Should I even sell them or save them? Is their value worth more as jewelry or monetarily?

Sell it, you never wear / will never wear. Although the fact that some is missing will make the price go down. I don’t think anyone on Yahoo answers will be able to give you a decent price range – go to a FEW gold inspectors who will buy gold off you and see what they all say.

I was in the jewelry business for about 6 years, I can tell you that the citrine, opal, and aquamarine are semi precious stones and won’t bring much in value. Jewelry is a lot like cars, they lose value when they leave the store. You could try to sell the diamond studs to a friend or on ebay. They may sell better on ebay. Do a little research to see what something similar is bringing. Hope it helps. Or sell it as a "lot" with a preset price you are comfortable with.
