Anyone have some recommendations on places to find them?
I just returned from the jeweler who made my engagement ring and was slightly disappointed.
I have an aquamarine center stone with diamonds on the side for my engagement ring. It doesn’t look good with a plain band beside it. I was hoping to find an aquamarine ring, but they don’t make any that are curved or notched to accomodate my center stone. The store had a very nice looking 5-stone diamond one, but the cost was over $1,600.
That is a bit above what we were hoping to spend so I am looking for alternate places to buy the band.
Where have you looked?
My center stone is 2.5 carats.
I was hoping to spend less than $1,000 on my band, and in order to custom-make a band we’re looking at $2,500 minimum (makes the $1,600 look much better for our budget).
There are chevron (v-shaped) bands, or you could try enhancers/wraps.

There are lots on this site – depends on how big your centre stone is -

You could try Robbins Bros. They have lots of rings, and they custom-make rings if they don’t have what you want.

I have a diamond vintage styled diamond ring and had to get a very curved wedding band with diamonds to match. I found it at Reeds. The store and online listed it as $500 but I looked at it, tried it on… and said "I don’t know if I can afford this" and they knocked off $150 at the drop of a hat. $350 is more my pricerange for a band since the engagement ring cost $2,000!

This one is white gold with diamonds, I thought the price was very good as well.

I also have a friend with an aquamarine engagement ring and she is considering getting a wedding band with sapphires. Not sure if you are interested, but I thought I’d include some
interesting options.

This store has a money back guarantee if you aren’t sure how they would look together.
both my wedding band and engagement are from bluenile, and they are spectacular. I always highly recommend them.

Have you checked outlet malls? We have a lot of diamond exclusive jewelry stores in the outlet mall. Ultra? That might be the name of it.
I got mine at Helzberg. How large is the center stone? If you are wanting it to sit flush, curved is the way to go. But for me, a lot of the ones that were "curved" didn’t curve enough. So I went with a chevron style. Here is mine.

That one sits flush up next to my engagement ring. It works with a large center stone b/c the dip is a lot deeper.
However, I’ve seen several eternity bands (or half eternity) with sapphire. Have you looked at those? I think that would look nice next to aquamarine.
Here are a couple curved ones

A couple others to look at

Go look at a lot of jewelry stores in your area. It took a while for me to find mine. They didn’t have the chevron next to the curved. However you’ll really have to see it up next to your ring so if you order it online make sure they have an easy return policy and don’t charge a ridiculous restocking fee.

Why can’t the jeweler custom make what you want? My fiance took in a picture of a ring I liked and they made it. We plan on doing the same thing with my wedding band. You could take in a picture of one you liked and a good jeweler will be able to make it.
