Staying motivated is one of the hardest things to do, when learning guitar. After the initial honeymoon period of playing the instrument, people often lose that zest for playing. This can often occur when the pain of learning the instrument begins to set in. By this I mean the soreness of the finger tips and the muscle stiffness of the wrists and forarms.
This is the point where you must focus on your movitation for picking up the instrument in the first place. Just by doing these simple exercises, you will be more likely to keep going and get beyond this troublesome learning period.
