There are two methods involved in electrolysis hair removal. The first method described is called the Short Wave. With this method, high-frequency radio energy produces heat by causing the cells in the hair folicle to vibrate. This temperature then burns the papillary tissue. Galivanic Method is the second type to be known. With this method, direct current stimulates the production of sodium hydroxide in the hair folicle. Then, the papillary tissue is acted upon and destroyed by this chemical. Blend Method is listed in the third type. In this way of electric current to cause a reaction, hair removal uses a mix of Short Wave Method and the Galvanic Method As its name would indicate, it is a combination of both methods.
